John Lewis feeling 'at home' in Croydon

The employee-owned retailer, John Lewis, announced that it will be opening a second John Lewis 'at home' store in Croydon this autumn.

This new branch of the John Lewis chain, which recorded record profits last Christmas despite the recession, is to be 52,000 square feet and involve an investment of £7.5m, creating 220 new jobs. John Lewis' first 'at home' store opened in October in Dorset and has traded above expectations.
